Dead body of a young man found hanging from a tree, in Gomia’s Mahuatard, police engaged in investigation

BERMO: The body of a youth was found hanging from a tree at Simrabeda village under Mahuatand police station area of ​​Bermo sub-division here on Sunday. The youth has been identified as 36 year old Jitendra Hansda a resident of Mahto Tola in Simrabeda village. On Sunday morning, when the people of the village went for defecation, they saw Jitendra Hansda’s body was found hanging from a noose on a tree.  After this news, a crowd of villagers gathered at the spot and then villagers informed about the incident to the family members and along with the Mahuatand police.  After getting the information, station in-charge Yamuna Prasad Gupta reached the spot along with the police force and brought the body down from the tree.  The police handed it over to the relatives after conducting the post-mortem. Police interrogated his relatives and villagers in relation to the incident, it is said that Jitendra Hansda had left the house at around ten o’clock on Saturday night, when the family members got slept. Meanwhile Jitendra Hansda has committed suicide or someone has killed him.  It has not been matter of investigations. The station in-charge said that the matter is being investigated.  While Jitendra Hansda’s wife Manju Devi, father Chetlal Manjhi and other villagers have been questioned.  It will be known only after the post-mortem report comes that Jitendra Hansda has committed suicide or the matter is something else.  At present, a case has been registered on the basis of the statement of the wife of the deceased.
